Amy’s plein air pieces are known for the subtle color that she sees in nature as well as her expressive brushwork. Her studio paintings are created from her outdoor studies.  

Collectors have remarked that her work doesn’t shout, but attracts them in a quiet and serene manner. Amy feels that her work fills a void that current art trends are lacking, bringing serenity and beauty to one’s space.

Amy is a signature member and Past President of Women Artists of the West, a signature member of Plein Air Artists of Colorado, founding member of Piedmont Outdoor Painting Society in North Carolina, and an associate member of American Impressionist Society and Oil Painters of America.
