Ann Marie Therrien has been creating and teaching art in Sanford Maine for many years.  Her art and that of her students, has won countless awards at various fairs and galleries throughout Southern Maine and New Hampshire.

The artist shows you the world as she sees it, through rose colored glasses.  A Realist and Romanticist, her style is delicate, reflective and illustrative of the beauty of simplicity, blended with a keen sensitivity to detail. Her subject matter is primarily New England – its people, places, animals and beautiful scenery.

In her effort to support and further the arts movement in Southern Maine, Ann Marie is an active member of:

• Saco Bay Artists
• Sanford Arts Association
• NH Art Association
• NH Plein Air Painters
• Plein Air Landscape Society

She regularly displays her work at the Sanford Art Gallery, Gallery One in Old Orchard Beach, and the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery in Portsmouth NH.
