I grew up in Colorado loving and appreciating the artistic beauty in nature. My grandmother was an artist and inspired me to study the great painters who use color, light and composition in a way that captures a mood and tells a story. My paintings draw inspiration from the patterns and colors in nature. I am moved by witnessing the grandeur of majestic mountains to the tiny intricacies if a flower. My compositions depict the wonder of nature and take the viewer on a new journey in each painting. This is my way of expressing and sharing these wonders.

 

My love of art began in elementary school. My education began at the University ofColorado and continued at the Colorado Academy of Art, including numerous seminars and workshops. I am active in supporting the arts and in several local community projects.  I am an artist in residence at the Muse Gallery in Longmont CO. My work has been shown in many different venues locally and regionally.
