Boris (Bill) Garibyan - born in the former Soviet Union, he was influenced by his father who was the artist and member of the Soviet Union Artists Society. After graduating from high school he attended the Art and Design School. For next 15 years he worked for "Art Association", a local art company, doing murals; participate in art shows and exhibitions. At the same time he worked on paintings and some sculpture pieces. In 1991 Boris moved to the United States, setting in Idaho. He constantly studies the work of the famous impressionists, their technique and brushwork, light and color. Meanwhile, he tries to create his own style. His favorite themes are landscapes and seascapes. He does most of his work outdoors in nature as well as in the studio. His painting style is easily recognizable by his confident blend of color and brush work. He uses the Idaho landscape around him in the paintings. The artwork of Boris is a reflection of his passion for painting.
