"Mill Creek Basin"
View of the Mill Creek Basin in the Rocky Mountain National Park - Oil on linen board
11 x 14, Oil
Silent Auction Minimum bid: $475

After painting for a lifetime, specializing in studio rendered watercolors, the change to oil painting has been very stimulating and rewarding. Being forced to see light and color before the sun changes is wonderfully challenging. It allows me to share the beauty and simplicity of the scene and capture a sense of being there. I feel that outdoor painting is vital and enhances all my work as an artist. I feel that the more I learn the more, I realize this will be a life long learning process. I use linen canvas on boards or stretched, using professional grade oil paints. My body of work is composed of both Studio and Plein Air paintings
