Biography

  Oil painter, Ginger Whellock, paints the western landscape with great sympathy.  When she moved from Chicago to a remote cattle ranch in Montana she became enchanted with the western landscape and today moves us with her meditative, serene landscape paintings.  Without chronicling our vanishing landscape she simply reveals, with amazing sensitivity, what the earth brings to our heritage.

  Whellock has been invited to participate in many national shows including Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, Panhandle-Plains Invitational, Salon International, Mountain Oyster Club, Richard Schmid Fine Art Auction, Colorado Governors Show, Women Artists of the West, PaintAmerica, Paint the Parks, Arts for the Parks and Southeastern Wildlife Exhibition. She has taken awards in many of these shows and is a Signature Member of the PaintAmerica Society and the Pastel Society of Colorado.  She is currently represented by Arts at Denver, Denver Colorado.  Her paintings hang in corporate and private collections worldwide.
