Grace was introduced to pastels at an early age by her parents, who were professional artists. She uses strong design elements in her compositions to draw viewers into the scene.

“Pastel is my medium of choice because of its intoxicating colors. I love working with pastels... applying pigment directly to paper or other surface fits well with my desire to capture and interpret color and light.”

Grace’s work has shown in galleries, businesses and exhibitions in Colorado. Her paintings and commissions are in private and corporate collections across the United States. Recent recognition of her work includes 1st Place Pastels (2009 and 2010) Artists Association of Northern Colorado All Media Small Paintings Show.

She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of Colorado, and is a member of Plein Air Artists of Colorado, Northern Colorado Artists Association, and Trimble Court Artisans Gallery in Fort Collins, Colorado.
