Kay Polk is an award winning portrait artist with more than thirty years of experience, working and teaching out of her Dallas, TX, home studio.  Ms. Polk is nationally known for her charming portraits of children and signature artistic style in Oil, Pastel and Drawing media. She is a signature member in

the Pastel Society of America, Knickerbocker Artists NY and the American Portrait Society. 

Ms. Polk's most recent honors include selection as a Finalist in the Butler Institute's “Inspiring Figures” exhibit, opening September 12, 2010, in Youngstown, Ohio, as well as having one of her award winning portraits hang in the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC, for two months this summer.  Her work has received numerous honors nationally and internationally, as well as being reviewed in a number of books, magazines, periodicals, and newspaper articles. She is represented by several national brokers and sells her work directly from her studio. Kay's work reflects her great love of color and light, bringing liveliness and beauty to her art.
