Mary Garrish is a contemporary landscape artist from Merritt Island, FL.  In her prior life as an ENT surgeon, she developed the self-discipline for long hours and for hard work.  As she evolved into a full time artist, she applied herself diligently to the learning and love of painting.   Her dedication has paid off as she has gained national notoriety for her muted renderings of outdoor scenes.  Her work is included in numerous corporate and private collections.  As Past President of the American Impressionist Society, Mary is still active as the Co-chair of their annual national exhibition and currently serving as Vice President.  In March 2010 she was the Artist in Residence for Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Parks, followed in April as the Keynote Artist for this year’s Nomadas Del Arte.  Mary’s works have also appeared in such prestigious events as the Salon International, Bosque Conservatory Classic and Paint America Top 100.  She has been featured in numerous regional and national publications.
