Nathaniel Skousen resides in Snohomish, Washington - a small town not too far outside of Seattle. He lives in a 1920's farmhouse surrounded by horses, deep mossy forests, and rustic barns that continuously inspire his artists imagination.  He enjoys plein air painting and fly fishing in the mountains and rivers nearby and spending time with his wife and three children.  Nathaniel has had many inspiring teachers that have guided him in his understanding of painting fundamentals, however, it has been his relentless study of master artists' paining videos that has further inspired him to paint emotion, mystery and intrigue.
