Paul studied at the New England School of Art in Boston and Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts.  Over the past few years he has painted at the Art Students League in Denver, Colorado.

Paul has lived in rural Northern Colorado for over 35 years and paints primarily with oils.  He and his wife Paula live near Livermore, Colorado in the beautiful Cherokee Park area with their horses, dogs and barn cats.  Paul draws inspiration for his paintings from the people and animals that surround him as well as the beauty of the Western landscape.  He has always had an appreciation for working dogs, horses and cattle and spent several years cowboying on ranches in Wyoming, Nevada, Colorado and Oregon.  He feels that it is important to paint what you know best and paint from the heart.

His work may be seen at Centennial Gallery in Fort Collins, Colorado andDeselms Fine Art in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
