     Raphy received his formal art education overseas under the Belgian painter Creve Coeur, andf then continued his education in art at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

      He has had one man shows and has participated in invitational group shows in Minneapolis, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Rhode Island and Boston. His recent exhibit was in January of 2007, at the Winfisk Gallery in Salem Massachusetts.

     In 2001, by invitation Raphy became a member of Putney Painters, headed by renowned artist Richard Schmid.

     In 2009, Raphy's work was selected through OPA for Eastern Regional Juried Exhibition at CORES GALLERY & ATELIER, Jacksonville, FL.

Also, in 2009, Raphy's work by juried selection was exhibited through

SALON INTERNATIONAL, at the GREEN HOUSE GALLERY OF FINE ARTS, San Antonio, TX.

     Presently, Raphy resides, in Easton, Massachusetts and paints in his home studio.   

     "While the beauty of the Seasonal changes in New England is my main source of inspiration, I also paint portraits and Still Life" says Raphy.
