Susan Schuchter Bio  

 Art has always been a love of Susan’s . She studied at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center in conjunction with her undergraduate degree from Colorado College. Though her artistic pursuits took a back seat to marriage and raising a family she returned to  the joy of painting in the late 90’s and has been painting ever since.
     Susan has studied with Mark Silvers, George Coll, Dan Edmondson, David Lefell, Margaret Jensen and Jeanne MacKenzie as well as short workshops not only in painting but in pottery and stone sculpture.
     Susan has been showing and selling her work since 2004 through shows such as Artist Association of Northern Colorado National Juried Show, Greeley Art Association Exhibition and show, Glenwood Springs Fall Festival Art Show, Richard Schmid Art Auction, and numerous shows put on by art leagues and art centers in Colorado and Florida.  She has been honored to receive awards from honorable mentions to best oil painting.
